DOVER - Diana Marie Weyant passed away unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, at home. Diana was born April 28, 1958 in Wilmington. She has lived in Dover, the majority of her life. Diana graduated from Dover High School in 1976, and received her LPN Nursing License from Del-Tech Community College in 1978. Diana has worked for Bayhealth Medical Center - Kent General Hospital for 38 years. She had received various awards for her excellent delivery of patient care and warm personality. She enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows,loved to travel with her husband, Mark, enjoying trips to the mountains of West Virginia, and shores of Virginia Beach. Diana loved animals. She supported the Dogs for the Deaf and was an active member of the Humane Society of the United States. Diana was preceded in death by her father, Jacob "Jack" Schuh. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark E. Weyant, of Dover; brother, Eric "Rick" Schuh, of Felton; sister-in-law, Denise Schuh; and nephew, Jacob Matthew Schuh, both of Roanoke, Va.; multiple in-laws, Thomas E. Weyant, of Milford, Michael T. Weyant, of Dover, Jan K. Walls, of Dover, Jeffery B. Weyant, of Shoemakersville, Pa., and Jill Usilton, of Rising Sun. Memorial services will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The Humane Society of the United States, Dept HACDQ100904001, 2100 L Street, NW, Washington, DC 20037.
