Dennis W. Mitchell passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Peak Healthcare Denton, Md. after a long illness.
Dennis was born in Easton, Md. on November 12, 1958 to Cornelia D. Mitchell and Vernon Mitchell.
He attended school at Greensboro Elementary and Riverview in Denton, Md. As a young boy Dennis enjoyed hunting with his father and fishing at Red Bridges and along the Choptank in Greensboro. Dennis learned to love standard bred horses and was a driver, trainer and known as an accomplished groom at the local raceways.
He is survived by Eve Dager; and his children, Clint Dager, Erin Dager; and his grandchildren, Jaxson and Levi of Newark, Del. Dennis is also survived by his father, Vernon Mitchell; his stepmother, Patricia D. Mitchell; and his siblings, Brenda Gulrich (Buddy), Ellen Boyd, David Mitchell, Duane Mitchell, Sr.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cornelia D. Mitchell; and his wife, Beverly Schulties Mitchell.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming DE 19934 on January 22, 2022 at 3 O'clock.
