Deloris W. Stowe

DOVER - Deloris W. Stowe passed away on August 22,2015 in Dover, Del. Deloris W. Stowe was born in Columbia, S.C. to the late parents of Walter and Dorcus Waites on January 9, 1945. She went to school at C.A Johnson HS in Columbia, S.C. She married SFC Arthur Stowe in 1965 in Columbia, S.C. She was a proud military spouse that was fortunate to be a stay at home mother during their family military career. She was involved in the VFW and various other military wives associations. Deloris Stowe is preceded in death by her late husband SFC, Arthur W. Stowe Army Retired; and her son, Artie Stowe. Deloris Stowe is survived by her daughter, Selena Ruble (Robert-Son-in-law Deceased); sisters, Francina (Wilbert) Ford Deceased, Walter Waites (deceased), Evon Williams of Columbia, S.C., Mary (Marvin) Daniels of Columbia, S.C.; grandchildren, Melina Criss, Jeffrey Criss, Jarel Ruble, Cordell Ruble, Aurelia Ruble; and great-grandchildren, Natalyia and Diamante Criss; nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family of Deloris Stowe wishes to extend our sincere thanks to, Patricia Medalion and family, Pastor Pauline Montgomery 302-266-6128, doctors, nurses, and hospice care representatives. Arrangements are by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
