FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Debra Ann Butler, formerly of Federalsburg, a patient at Deers Head Hospital Center for over 30 years, died at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, on Sunday, April 13, 2008. She was 53.
She was born in Milford on Nov. 30, 1954, daughter of Anna Mae Kelley Butler Rothermel of Houston, Del., and the late Franklin "Barney" Leon Butler.
She enjoyed reading, Christian music, country music, watching game shows and going to church services at Deers Head.
She is survived by her mother, Anna Mae Kelley Butler Rothermel of Houston; a sister, Jennie L. Holmes of Preston; an aunt, Isabel B. Fleetwood of Dover, Del.; two uncles, Bruce M. Butler of Florida and Lester Kelley of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; a nephew, Brad Plutschak of Hurlock; a great-nephew, Hayden Plutschak of Hurlock; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Framptom Funeral Home, Federalsburg, where friends may call one hour prior to services and from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford, Del.
The family has requested that donations be made in her memory to Deer's Head Hospital Center, P.O. Box 2018 351, Deers Head Hospital Road, Salisbury, MD 21802.
