Deborah Lynn Halsey, 45 DOVER - Deborah Lynn Halsey, of Dover, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Milford Hospice Center. She was 45. She was born Aug. 8, 1964, to Wilbert Sommers and the late Betty Sommers. Deborah was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, online shopping, collecting dolls and lighthouses. She is survived by her father, Wilbert Sommers of Pocomoke, Md.; her fiancé of 18 years, Randall Merritt Sr.; daughters, Priscilla Lee Rawley of Clayton, Jacqueline Halsey of Dover, Diana Parsons of Shippensburg, Pa.; sons, Randall Merritt Jr. of Dagsboro, William Ralph Merritt of Dover; brothers, Wilbert Sommers, Jr. of Dover, Barry Sommers of Hartly, Paul Sommers of Smyrna; sister, Betty Jones of Pocomoke, Md.; seven grandsons, three granddaughters, and two on the way. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2010, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, De 19904 to help defray the cost of the funeral. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
