Deborah L. Cain

FREDERICA - Deborah L. Cain passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017 at Bayhealth Medical Center, Milford Memorial Hospital. Debbie was born in Lancaster, PA the daughter of the late Harold Lloyd and Sarah (Longabaugh) Martin. She was a graduate of Harrington High School, Class of 1967. She was a stay at home mom for many years while her children were in school. Afterwards, she worked at the Modern Maturity Center and at Pepsi, both in Harrington, as well as at the Milford Center Nursing Home and at the old Equitable Bank formerly located at the Rodney Village Shopping Center. Debbie enjoyed camping, going to her grandchildren's baseball games, and bowling in the local bowling leagues. She loved helping people, and her whole life revolved around her family and friends, who she cared for deeply.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Frank W. Cain; her children Shawn Cain and his wife Corinne, Matthew Cain and Carrie Cain; 5 younger sisters and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018 at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington where a viewing will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford - Harrington Highway, Harrington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Make checks payable to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
