DOVER - Deborah Delores Hoxter, 58, of Dover, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Mrs. Hoxter was born June 20, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Sarah Allen and the late David Allen. After graduating from Delaware Technical Institute, she worked as a CNA for 10 years at Kent General Hospital and 5 years at Lewes Convalescent Home. She was later employed as a home health aide. She was a member of Breaker Annointing Outreach Ministries in Dover. Mrs. Hoxter found pleasure while spending time with her family and cooking. She loved taking a ride on the Cape May Lewes Ferry, studying her bible, attending church and watching her favorite television shows, which included Meet the Browns, Keeping up with Appearances, Wheel of Fortune and As Time Goes By. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Allen of Baltimore; her husband of 33 years, Pastor Lloyd R. Hoxter of Dover; sons, Nehemiah Hoxter and his wife Shannon Hoxter of Dover, Lloyd Hoxter IV of Camden; daughters, Naomi Hoxter, Latoya Hoxter and Charity Hoxter all of Dover; sisters, Barbara Travers, Elizabeth Butler, and Lavarne Smith, all of Baltimore; mother-in-law, Delores Hoxter of Easton, Md.; sister-in-law, Vanessa Lawerence of Easton; and eight grandchildren, Adrian Hoxter, Akilah Hoxter, Keziah Hoxter, Zyneriah Hoxter, Nehemiah Hoxter Jr., Zy-Shawn Hoxter, Laila Hoxter and Dailon Hoxter. The family will receive friends at 1 p.m., on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at New Hope Pentecostal, 1995 Sharon Hill Road, Dover, DE 19904.
