Dawn Chandler Trader, 53
LAUREL - Dawn Chandler Trader, 53, of Laurel, died unexpectedly from a sudden cardiac arrest, on Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital. Dawn was born on June 20, 1955, in Nassawadox, Va., to the late John and Joyce Chandler. Dawn spent most of her childhood in Pocomoke City, Md. She followed in her father's footsteps with her love of horses. She was actively involved in the world of Harness Racing from childhood to her death. She continues to hold the title for fastest leading female driver at Brandywine Raceway prior to its demise in 1990. Horses were just one of her many loves. She was a mother figure to many, a nature nurturer and caregiver. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her long time companion and the love of her life, Chad Hall; loving mother of two daughters, Shannon Trader and Nicole Morris; and stepchildren, Scott and Macy Hall. In addition to her two sisters and their families, Chris and Robin Miles, Bubba and Tracy King, and their children, Stephen Miles, Cory and Casey King; her three grandchildren, Amanda Malone, Deacon Kiem and Brody Morris.
