FEDERALSBURG, Md. - Dawayne Edgar Eastburn died suddenly from an accident on June 3, 2009. Born Nov. 26, 2001, in Easton, the son of James Eastburn and Alveena Splinter of Federalsburg. Dawayne attended Federalsburg Elementary and was in the 1st grade. He was a very outgoing individual, always wanting to play with his friends or cousins whether it was on the play station, basketball, or football. Friends like Little, Alex, and Keyshawn; cousins like Trevor, Ty, and Dawayne loved to eat McDonald's, Kings Buffet, and Applebee's. He loved his spaghetti and hot sauce. He is survived by his parents, James Eastburn and Alveena Splinter; grandparents, Rita and Dwight Wilson of Bridgeville, Del. and Shirley and Carroll Lambert of Harrington, De.; seven aunts, Tish, Niese, Virginia, Tay, Susan, and Carol; three uncles, Josh, Charles, and Tony; and a host of cousins. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, June 12, at Mt. Carmel S.D.A. 103 Mechanic Street, Harrington. The first viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church and the second viewing will be one hour prior to service. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Hurlock.
