David Wayne Rhinehardt, 26
MARYDEL -- David Wayne Rhinehardt, of Marydel, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 26. David was born on Dec. 24, 1982, in Dover. He was a student at Delaware Technical Community College. Prior to his accident, David was a carefree type of person who enjoyed life and making his friends laugh. David's hobbies included baseball, kneeboarding, fishing, and was an avid Washington Redskins fan. After his accident, he received the finest care from his primary care nurse, Angela Andrew-Webb, and enjoyed visits from his grandmother, Frances Rhinehardt and his best friend Skeet Melvin. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Jeffrey and Dixie Rhinehardt of Marydel; his mother and stepfather, Kathy and Anthony Meredith of Felton; three brothers, Adam Rhinehardt and his wife Erin of Marydel, identical twin brother, Eric Rhinehardt and his wife Meghan of Milford, and Matt Durity of Fort Meyers, Fla.; two sisters, Lisa Porter of Dover, Jessica Milligan and her husband Arthur of Federalsburg, Md.; brother-in-law, Keith Porter; nieces, Kylie Rhinehardt and Alexis Bates both of Marydel; nephews, Trent Rhinehardt of Marydel, and Christopher Milligan of Federalsburg, Md.; paternal grandmother, Frances Rhinehardt of Marydel; maternal stepgrandmother, Shirley Daffins of Denton, Md.; step grandmother, Gail Wise of Chatham, Mass.; uncles, George, Steve, Mike, and Gary Rhinehardt, Randy Wise; aunts, Deborah Saunders and Lisa Wise, cousins Skeet Melvin, Michael and Zach Rhinehardt, Jessie Feiner and Lisa Rhinehardt. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
