PITMAN, N.J. - On Nov. 22, 2010, David W. Bankes Sr., 48, of Pitman, N.J., passed away suddenly in his home. He is survived by his ex-wife, Cheryl Blitman Cronin; his sons, David (Laura) Bankes, Jr. and Douglas (Lauren) Bankes; his daughters, Carrie Bankes and Michele Bankes; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Kelsey, Brooke, Mackenzie and Emily; his mother, Frances Bankes; his brother, G. Douglas (Lynn) Bankes and his sisters, Denise (Theodore) Miller and Dianne (David J.) VanHaitsma. He was predeceased by his father, George Bankes; and his grandson, Benjamin. Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and again Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Healey Funeral Home, 9 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, N.J., where his Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691.
