LAUREL - David Robert Littleton of Laurel departed this world Monday, March 5, 2007, as a result of an automobile accident. He was 37.

Mr. Littleton is the son of Robert and Winifred Littleton of North Port, Fla.

He was a 1988 graduate of Indian River High School, Frankford. He attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., and was a graduate of Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, where he majored in automotive technology and business management.

Mr. Littleton was the proud owner of Littleton Motorsports Inc., a high performance auto shop in Laurel. His specialty was custom engine building.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Winifred Littleton of North Port, Fla.; a sister, Lucinda Beth Littleton of Pacific Beach, Calif.; a half-brother, Chris Littleton and his wife, Celeste; his nephews, Michael and Brendan of Midlothian, Va.; a half-sister, Karen Baker; a niece, Stacie of Millsboro; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Neumann of Avon, Conn.; an uncle, Robert Neumann of Newington, Conn.; an uncle and aunt, Kenneth and Donna Neumann of Port Charlotte, Fla.; an uncle and aunt, Jonathon and Cynthia Fairbanks of Damariscotta, Maine; an uncle and aunt, William and Terri Pelletier of Rocky Hill, Conn.; a cousin, Nichole, Mark, Kenny, Billy, Christopher and Aaron.

A family memorial service will be in North Port, Fla.

A memorial celebration of life will be from 1 to 4 p.m. today in Littleton Motorsports, 1101 S. Central Avenue, Laurel.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Bell Fund of Grace United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 566, Millsboro DE 19966.
