David Lee McGinnis Jr.

DOVER - David Lee McGinnis Jr., affectionately called D.J., was born on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at 9:28 a.m. to his parents David Lee and Shalyn M. McGinnis Sr., of Dover, at Christiana Hospital, Newark. Dad, Mom and his Grandmothers were blessed with almost 2 hours with D.J. before he went home to be with the Angels in Heaven at 11:21 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2009. D.J. experienced being held by his Mommy, Daddy and Grandmothers, receiving hugs and kisses and being told "I Love You" an uncountable amount of times. D.J. is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by his Mommy and Daddy; big sisters, Elizabeth and Amber; maternal grandmother, Ernestine M. Thompson of Sicklerville, N.J.; paternal grandparents, Monte and Lynn McGinnis of Dover; his aunts and uncles, his cousins and many others. D.J. will always remain his parents precious baby and they will hold him again in heaven one day. Memorial Service will be 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Mt. Plymouth A.M.E.
