MILFORD - David Elia Poore died Monday, May 21, 2012, at BayHealth Medical Center, Milford. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Flora Lois Poore (Teed); four children, John Kenneth Poore (Tina) of Lynchburg, Va., Anthony Bruce Poore Sr. (Jean) of Greenwood, Del., Donna Poore of Las Vegas, Nev., Kathleen Spence (Charles) of Lynchburg, Va.; seven grandchildren, Anthony Bruce Poore Jr. (Michelle), Phillip Charles Spence (Michelle), Jeromy Michael Poore Sr. (Lisa), Joshua Elia Spence (Melissa), Michael Adam Spence, Jonathan Blake Karnes Poore, Heather Marie Poore; and eight great-grandchildren, Tyler Michael Trader, Shelby Morgan Poore, Jeromy Michael Poore Jr., Madison Paige Poore, Zoe Isabelle Poore, Ethan John Poore, Charles Phillip (Chase) Spence, Liam Wayne Spence. Mr. Poore was preceded in death by his son, David Wayne Poore in 1992; his parents, John F. Poore and Florence H. Dill; and nine siblings. Mr. Poore retired from Playtex International, Dover, Del., and was a Navy Veteran, Mechanic and Deacon in the Greensboro Pentecostal Church of God. His hobbies included roller skating, pony racing and wood crafting. The family will receive visitors Friday, May 25, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with services immediately following at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover DE.
