Dane L. Taylor, 51 RALEIGH, N.C. - Dane L. Taylor, of Raleigh, formerly of Dover, Del., died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008. He was 51. Born in Ayr, Scotland on Dec. 23, 1956, he was a resident of Raleigh for the past 12 years and worked at Builders FirstSource. Dane is survived by his wife, Song of Raleigh; step-daughter, Kimberly Kirkhart of Raleigh; mother, Diane M. Taylor of Dover, Del.; sisters, Darcy Connor and husband Mike of Dover, Del. and Marie Vammino and husband Jack of Lincoln, Del; brother, Kevin Newton and wife Darcy of Sandy, Ore.; sister-in-law, Jackie S. Taylor of Va.; and seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dawrence A. Taylor and brother, Kenneth Taylor. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, in Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
