Dallas Henry Taylor, 56

MILFORD - Dallas Henry Taylor of Milford departed this life Thursday, April 19, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 56.

Dallas was born in Lewes on Aug. 25, 1950, son of the late Edward H. and Viola E. Taylor.

He was a member of Morningstar Church of God in Christ, Camden.

Dallas loved art and took an interest in drawing at an early age. Dallas enjoyed being around his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents and a nephew, Thomas Demerris Taylor.

He is survived by two daughters, Juanita Mumford of Frankford, and Dalisha Drummond of Felton; one son, Dallas H. and his wife Kia of Dover; three brothers, Gary Lee and his wife Carolyn A. Taylor of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael Lynn Taylor of Selbyville and Clarence Edward Taylor of Millsboro and his friend Valerie of Georgetown; two sisters, Sherry Ann and her husband Charles T. Vann Sr. of Wyoming, and Cassandra Maria and her husband Bobby M. Smith of Milford. He also leaves eight grandchildren, two aunts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Millsboro. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in New Holy Trinity Church, First Street, Millsboro, where friends may view two hours prior.

Burial will be in Zoar Golden Acres Cemetery, Selbyville.
