D. Laureen Biddle, 56

FELTON - D. Laureen Biddle of Felton died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, in her home surrounded by the family she loved dearly. She was 56.

Mrs. Biddle was born in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late Frederick C. and Dorothy F. Marvel.

She was a homemaker and took care of raising her family. She was a great provider, and at one point worked three jobs to provide for her children. She always thought of others before herself, gave her heart freely to others, and put their needs above her own.

Mrs. Biddle enjoyed crafts, camping and fishing. Last year, she held the state record for the biggest fish caught in Trap Pond.

She loved being around her family and friends and spending time with them. She was loved dearly by her family and will be sorely missed, not only by them, but all the people whom she touched.

Mrs. Biddle will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister and dear friend.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Leonard Biddle; three sons, Jerry Morgan and Jimmy Morgan, both of Felton and Johnny Morgan of Smyrna; two brothers, Fred Marvel and John Marvel, both of Chichester, Pa.; a sister, Ruth Schupp of Upland, Pa.; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Harry Jr. and Ruth A. Biddle of Felton; four grandchildren, Katie Morgan and Shelby Morgan, Jerry Morgan Jr. and Zachary Morgan; and three loving pet companions, Brittany, Coco and Petie.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 S. DuPont Highway, Harrington, where friends may call one hour earlier. The Rev. Cheryl M. Evans will officiate.

Burial will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
