D. Fay Wood, 50
MILFORD - D. Fay Wood, of Milford, passed away Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 50.
Fay was born in Milford, daughter of Dolores (Bailey) Turner of Milford and the late Willard Edward Cahall.
Fay was a sales associate for Wal-Mart in the apparel department.
Prior to her employment at Wal-Mart, she had been a forklift operator for 14 years at Baltimore Air Coil and had been a bartender for 20 years at the Harrington Moose Lodge, Shawnee Country Club and Park Place.
Fay was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge and Harrington American Legion.
She loved her family and enjoyed tennis.
In addition to her mother, Fay is survived by a daughter, Bionca Marie Wood of Harrington; three sisters, Wanda Cahall Bowles and husband Donald and Deborah Jean Hennessey and husband Mark, all of Mocksville, N.C., and Linda Darlene Buckles and husband Steve of Lincoln; a brother, John Wayne Stafford and wife Vera of Houston; nine nieces and nephews and three great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services and burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, Fay's wishes were to have contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803.
Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
