Crystal Lynn Scarfo, 35

MILTON - Crystal Lynn Scarfo, of Milton, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, at Milford Center surrounded by her family. She was 35. Crystal was born on Aug. 26, 1973, in Milford, daughter of Leroy Passwaters and Kathy (Havelow) Conaway. She was employed as a receptionist for several years with Bayside Health in Lewes then for ten years in the same capacity for Mid-Atlantic Family Practice also in Lewes, leaving that position in 2008 because of declining health. Crystal loved going to the beach and found special excitement whenever she would get the opportunity to watch a school of Dolphins passing by in the water. She is survived by her husband of 9 years, Dave M. Scarfo; her daughter, Ariel Lynn Scarfo, at home; her father, Leroy Passwaters of Seaford; her mother, Kathy Conaway of Milford; a brother, Craig Passwaters of Milford; and a sister, Tanya VanGorder of Felton. A Celebration of Life will be 4 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where friends may greet the family one hour prior. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to help defray funeral costs be made to Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, DE 19963.
