Cora Jean Temple, 72

CLARKSVILLE - Cora Jean Temple of Clarksville died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, surrounded by her loving family. She was 72.

Mrs. Temple was born in Milford daughter of the late Charles J. and Nan (Richardson) Cannon.

She was a bookkeeper for the Ocean View Boat Co. and Bob's Marine of Clarksville before retiring in 1994, after many years of service.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Temple was a volunteer at Lord Baltimore Elementary School in Ocean View for several years and a care giver for the elderly.

She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Craig and Pat Temple; two daughters and a son-in-law, Theresa and Mark Orhelein and Donna Temple; a brother, Charles J. Cannon Jr. and his wife, Angela; four grandchildren, Graig, Tricia, Megan and Christopher; a great-grandson, Garrett; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be noon Monday in the Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Avenue, Ocean View, where friends may call an hour and one half earlier.

Burial will be in Odd fellows Community Cemetery, Milford.

In addition to flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice.
