GEORGETOWN - Constance A. Duman, a resident of Georgetown since 2002, formerly of Johnstown, Pa., died Monday, May 19, 2008, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 74.
Constance was a cook for U.P.J. College in Pennsylvania for 30 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Georgetown and the Delaware Professional Clowns and also the Clowns for Christ.
She enjoyed sewing, quilting and painting.
Constance was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Dean Duman Sr. in 1998; and her son, Joseph Dean Duman Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie Weigand and her husband Leo of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Jappanett Webber, Jimmy Dean Hackett, Dayla Ruyle, Denise Pursley, Daniel Duman and Reed Karnes; 12 great- grandchildren; and two sisters, Betty Calico and Margaret Doyle, both of Florida.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church, 601 N. Dupont Highway, Georgetown, where friends may call after 3 p.m.
Interment will be 1 p.m. Friday in Benshoff Cemetery, Johnstown, Pa.
Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, 601 N. Dupont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
