Clifford H. Pierce

MILFORD - Clifford H. Pierce passed away on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017 at home.
Clifford was born in Bridgeville, the son of the late James and Anna (Messick) Pierce.
He was a veteran of the Delaware National Guard. He was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge in Milford, and the Greenbriar Hunting Lodge at Big Stone Beach. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
He was a truck driver for most of his life, retiring in 1995.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Pierce.
He is survived by his children, Alan Pierce and girlfriend, Donna Evans and Brian Pierce and his wife, Caroline; twin granddaughters, Cecilia and Sophia Pierce.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call Friday, Jan. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. or Saturday, Jan. 6 from 11 to 12 p.m. Interment will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
