GREENSBORO, Md. - Claudine Ingersoll McClyment passed away on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at UMSMC at Easton, Md. She was born on April 18, 1918 in Salisbury, Md., to the late Claude L. and Lucy Whitelock Ingersoll. Claudine had been the postal clerk for Greensboro Post Office for 30 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Greensboro Town and Country Club, charter member of Caroline Memorial VFW, Post 7937 Ladies Auxiliary and the Order of the Eastern Star, past Worthy Matron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. McClyment; son, Larry McClyment; and daughter-in-law, Debra McClyment. She is survived by her son, Don Jones and wife, Mary Ellen, of Portsmouth, Va.; five granddaughters, Donna Keene (Dave), Tami Williams (Greg), Wendy Blough (Paul), Laurie Kontz (Kevin), and Kelly McClyment; plus four great-granddaughters; and seven great-grandsons. Claudine's funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, Md., with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
