DAGSBORO - Clarence Stanton (Stan) Millner, of Dagsboro, passed into the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, April 1, 2008.

Stan was an independent agent for State Farm Insurance in Baltimore, for 38 years until his retirement in 1997 to the beach.

He enjoyed his retirement and was always looking forward to the next vacation to yet another beach in the U.S. or Caribbean.

Stan was a member of Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church, the Lord Baltimore Lions Club, and the Ocean View Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7234.

He was an avid stamp collector until recently when he realized the completion of his U.S. collection, then transferred his devotion to his all-time love - cars.

Stan is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Beth C. (Scrivnor) Millner; his five children, James S. Millner and his wife Michele, John S. Millner, Mary Ann Novia and her husband Mike, all of Baltimore, Mark Millner of Savannah, Ga., Pastor Dennis Millner and his wife Kathy of Roxana; three stepchildren, Bryan Copinger, Karen Bertolino, Kevin S. Copinger and his wife Debbie; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Boyle of Hudson, Fla.; brother, Glen Millner and his wife Betty of Milford; sister, Dolly Kovens and her husband Rick of Surprise, Ariz. and Towson, Md.

Services will be Friday in Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church, Ocean View, with the viewing beginning at 3 p.m. followed by the service with a luncheon afterward in the church social hall.

Interment will be 11 a.m. Monday in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.

Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church Vision Fund, 81 Central Ave., Ocean View, DE 19970.

Arrangements by Melson Funeral Services of Ocean View.
