Clarence Dale Miles, 79

MILLSBORO - Clarence Dale Miles of Millsboro, formerly of Wilmington, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2007, in his home. He was 79.

Mr. Miles was a retired hardware rep. and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 22 of Millsboro.

He is survived by two sons, Allen Miles and his wife, Sharon and Kirk Miles; three daughters, Nancy Anderson and her husband, Frank, Wanda Miles and Judy Casenta and her husband, Lenny; a brother, Glen Miles; five sisters and five brothers-in-law, L. Blanche and Bob Newhouser, Ethel and Edgar Weaver, Reba and Bill McLimans, Wave and Vance Miller and Edna and Ray Paisley; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services on Long Neck Road in Millsboro, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery South, Millsboro.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to, Delaware Hospice, Southern Division, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
