MADISON, Ind - Clara E. Robertson of Madison, formerly of Orange County, Calif., passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007, in Waters at Clifty Falls, Madison. She was 74.
Mrs. Robertson was born March 5, 1935, in Newark, Del., daughter of the late William Arthur and Mary Cooper Robinson.
She was a graduate of Newark High School.
She was a retired professional skating instructor and co-owner of Skating Rink in Seaford, Del. She was the former adviser to the U.S. Olympic Village in Colorado. Many of her students were national gold medalists.
Mrs. Robertson was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth D. Robertson; a daughter, Sheril A. Robertson of Hanover; three sons, Kenneth A. Robertson of Decatur, Brian D. Robertson of Madison and David W. Robertson of Madison; a sister, Barbara Yeatman of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and severalnieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday in Vail-Holt Funeral Home Hilltop Chapel, Madison.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesdat in the funeral home where friends may call two hours earlier.
Burial will be in Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Crank will officiate.
Memroial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
