BRIDGEVILLE - Clara D. Workman age 68 of Bridgeville, died Friday, May 17, 2012 at her residence. Born in Greenbackville,Va. the daughter of the late Elva Mae Dryden and Wallace Paxton Bailey, she was a pre school teacher at Shell Day Care in Harrington. She was also the former manager-baker at Mr. Donut in Seaford and Georgetown and worked at the Laurel Head Start. The joys in her life were teaching children, spending time with her family and camping. Clara is survived by her husband, Kenneth F. Workman; sons, Raymond W. Workman of Lincoln, Michael P. Workman of Georgetown, Kenneth J. Workman of Charlotte, N.C.; daughters, Cynthia R. Little of Laurel, Jody Yvonne Smith of Siler City, N.C.; a brother, George R. Bailey of Laurel; a sister, Crystal E. Campbell of Harrisburg, Va.; and sister in law, Nancy Bailey, 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Paxton L. Bailey. Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 a in Watson-Yates Funeral Home Front & King Streets Seaford, Del. Rev. Donnie Bailey will officiate. Friends. may call 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, May 20, 2012. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery Seaford, Del. Contributions may be maid to the American Heart Association Pennsylvania Delaware Affiliate 625 West Ridge Pike Suite A 100 Conshahocken, Pa. 19428-0860.
