Christopher 'Chris' Allen Pridgen, 28
GOLDSBORO, Md. - Christopher "Chris" Allen Pridgen, of Goldsboro, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, in Greensboro. He was 28. He was born on Dec. 11, 1979, in Charlottesville, Va., the son of Joyce Ann Gill Pridgen and the late Ralph Henry Pridgen Jr. Mr. Pridgen attended North Caroline High School. He was a Ravens football fan. He enjoyed life on the Eastern Shore. He was an iron worker, and especially liked to work with his brother. He is survived by his wife of 3 years, Emily of Goldsboro; his mother, Joyce; daughter, Kelsey Pridgen of Federalsburg; two sons, Zachery Pridgen of Federalsburg, and Harley Pridgen of Goldsboro; brother, Ralph Pridgen III of Severn Park; sister, Ann Reed of Greensboro; mother and father-in-law, Mary Lee and Ed Sard of Felton, Del., and several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Pridgen Jr. Visitation will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, P.A on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday from Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro.
