DOVER - Christine Nicole Pate of Dover passed away suddenly Monday, Oct. 8, 2007. She was 25.

Ms. Pate was born Sept. 12, 1982, in Dover, daughter of Danny J. Pate of New Castle, and Susan K. Richardson of Smyrna.

Ms. Pate was a graduate of Smyrna High School with the class of 2000 and was a devoted family member, sister and wonderful daughter.

She worked for Glasgow Deli in Dover and enjoyed shooting pool and riding motorcycles.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Ruth Ashcraft; and her maternal grandfather, James Pate.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Amy J. Fibelkorn of Wilmington and Elizabeth A. Lagemann of Smyrna; three brothers, Danny J. Pate and David J. Pate, both of New Castle, and Eric Richardson of Smyrna; her maternal grandfather, John Ashcraft of Wilmington; her maternal grandmother, June Gravenor of Newark, Md.; her paternal grandmother, Marjorie Pate of Wilmington; her uncle, Kenneth J. Ashcraft and his wife Deborah of Hockessin; and many cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call two hours prior.

Burial services will be private.
