Cheryl McPherson, 49

WILMINGTON - Cheryl McPherson of Wilmington passed away with her loving family in attendance on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007. She was 49.

Cheryl was a trauma nurse at Christiana Hospital for 10 years.

An avid reader, Cheryl devoted her life to helping people.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome King; brother, David Brown; and sister, Paula Brown.

She is survived by her husband, of 25 years, George McPherson of Wilmington; her children, Jason, Mary and Max; mother and stepfather, Judy and Barney Norton; brother, Paul Brown and wife Tracy; sister-in-law, Melanie Brown; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; and beloved friend and caregiver, Megan Speakman.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Delcastle Golf Club, 801 McKennans Church Road, Wilmington, where friends may visit beginning at 11 a.m.

Interment will be private.
