Charlotte E. Transeau, 79

LINCOLN - Charlotte E. Transeau, 79, of Lincoln, died Thursday April 30, 2009, at Milford Genesis Center in Milford. She was born May 6, 1929, at Milford Memorial Hospital the daughter of the late Curtis W. Ennis Sr. and Blanche "Baker" Ennis. She was a member of Ellendale UM Church and a graduate of Milford High School Class of 1947. She worked many years as an accountant in Milford Area. She enjoyed gardening, but reading was by far, her favorite past time. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis W. Ennis Jr. She is survived by her husband, Marvin Transeau of Lincoln; and two sisters, Joan Mitchell of Ellendale and Gardella Bunting of Milford; and several nieces and nephews. Services and interment were private and held on Friday, May 1. Arrangements were handled by Berry Short Funeral Home, Milford.
