CLAYTON - Charles William Folker died on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018.
Charles W. Folker was born April 8, 1947 in Chestertown, Md. the son of the late Bernard Folker and Mary "Bruning" Folker. Charles was a 1966 graduate of Sudlersville High School. He worked many years as a dairy farmer before going to work for Queen Anne's County Parks and Recreation in 1988. He retired in 1997 after ten years and moved to Florida for 15 years before returning home in 2012. Mr. Folker was an avid motorcycle rider and he loved being in the seat of his Harley Davidson.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his 2nd wife, Nancy Dietz and one sister, Barbara Simpler.
He is survived by one son, Mike Folker (Neomia) of Clayton; one brother, Bernard Folker Sr. (Faye) of Marydel, Md.; four grandchildren, Jordan (Cherie) of Dollar Bay, Mich., Courtney (Justin) of Clayton, Katelyn (Joe) of Smyrna, Chelsie (Will) of Jacksonville, Fla.; four great grandchildren, Liam, Eli, Parker, Harper; and 1st wife, Brenda Harnage of Clayton; and special friend, Pat Moore of Kennedyville, Md.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fellows Family Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St. Millington, Md. A time of sharing and remembrance will begin at 6:30 p.m.
