Charles 'Charlie' Wayne McDowell, 29

TOWNSEND - Charles "Charlie" Wayne McDowell, of Townsend, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008. He was 29. He is survived by his daughter, Charlee Anne and his son, Jackson; his father, Larry McDowell and stepmother, Martha; his mother, Lois Eisenbrey and stepfather Bill; two sisters, Stephanie Money and her husband Mike, Joell Meekins; nephew, Keegan Money and nieces Caraline Money and Taylor Heverin; his fiancé, Helen Dugan and her son Seth; paternal grandmother, Eleanor McDowell; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Yearsley; maternal grandfather, William Eisenbrey; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Charlie is also survived by his godfather, John Massey and godmother Karen McCabe; and a special family member, Megan Hajek. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Francis McDowell and step grandparents, Winnie Eisenbrey, Charles Yearsley, Bill and Billie Unruh. A memorial service will be held noon Thursday in the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 North Broad St., Middletown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, Middletown Relay for Life, 92 Reads Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
