Charles Robert David, 83
DOVER - Charles Robert David passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021.
He was born June 28, 1938, in Dover to the late Charles Thomas David and Elsie Singleton.
Mr. David served in the National Guard for many years, active member of the Modern Maturity Center, enjoyed creating custom furniture at Nagashima while he was living in Pennsylvania. He was a sales rep./application designer for Hilti Fastener Systems, and office/grounds manager at Public Storage. He enjoyed some black smithing at Mid-Atlantic Smith Association, which he shared with others at the Agricultural Museum in Dover.
In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Cindy. Mr. David is survived by brother, T. Franklin David (Lois) of Wilmington; sister-in-law, Adelaide Worden (Edson); several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special close family friend, Linda Valdes.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 6, 2021, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd. (RT-10), Dover, Del. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment with be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Agriculture Museum.
