Charles Robert Barnes Sr.

Barnes, Sr. 69 HARTLY - Charles Robert Barnes, Sr. passed away Wednesday June 5, 2013 at his home with family. He was born on August 3, 1943 in Black Creek, N.C. to the late Charlie and Lillian Rice Barnes. He was a member of the Camden/Wyoming Moose Lodge and The Silver Lake Fishing Club. He also was a member for over 35 years of the IBEW Local 126 Electrical Union. He owned and operated Tri County Drilling for many years. He enjoyed John Deere Tractors, gardening, and his dog "Cody". He enjoyed spending time with friends at the Pearson Corner Royal Farms. Proceeded in death by his son Robert Todd Barnes, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Rhoda Troyer Barnes of Hartly, Del.; son, Charles R. Barnes, Jr. of Marydel, Del.; son and wife, James Michael and Michelle Wilson of Hartly, Del.; son, Stephen E. Wilson and his fiancée Hannah Burris of Hartly, Del.; one grandson; two great-grandchildren. A Remembrance Service will be held Sat. June 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Wesleyan Church 1564 South State Street Dover, DE. with a public viewing one hour prior. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park Dover, Del. Family and friends may call Friday June 7, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover. The family request that memorial contributions be given to Trinity Wesleyan Church 1564 South State Street Dover, DE 19901 Letters of condolences may be sent to www.traderfh.com or www.delmarvaobits.com
