Milford - Charles R. Mabry died suddenly on Friday, October 31, 2014 in Lewes, Del. Mr. Mabry was born in Cowpens, S.C. the son of Jean Whitaker Mabry and the late Gene Mabry. Ric was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked as a pump truck operator for Blue Hen Pumping and had previously worked for East Coast Poured Walls. Ric was an animal lover and loved his dogs, especially his dog Sophie. He enjoyed spending time with people and could be found mingling with friends in the mornings at the Westside Diner in Milford. He is survived by his wife of 10 years Donna L. Mabry; two daughters Charlene P. Fowler and her husband Fred, of Milford and Amber McLea, of S.C.; two sons, Richie Mabry and Joseph Mabry, both of S.C.; his mother Jean Whitaker Mabry, of S.C.; three brothers Mike Mabry, Larry Mabry and Randy Mabry and a sister Bonnie Lollis, all of S.C.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. with Pastor Royce Andrus officiating.
