Charles Mark 'Chuck' Zimmerman, 53

DOVER - Charles Mark "Chuck" Zimmerman, of Dover, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 53.

He was born on Aug. 5, 1954, in Dover, to Ernest and Margaret Dollay Zimmerman.

He was a member of Holy Cross Church, Dover.

Mark was a lifetime farmer with the family farm.

He was a 1973 Dover High School graduate.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, basketball, time with family, watching TV, listening to music, and his dog, Harley.

Mark was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Jacob Zimmerman Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia L. Zimmerman of Dover; sons, Jason Mark Zimmerman of Kamuela, Hawaii, Jonathan Ryan Zimmerman of Dover, and Shawn Charles Zimmerman of Dover; daughter, Kristol Leigh Zimmerman of Dover; father and mother, Ernest and Margaret Zimmerman of Dover; and sister, Elizabeth Zimmerman of Kamuela.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Trader Funeral Home, Dover.

Private services and burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
