DOVER - Charles Henry Gosser, Jr. passed away on April 24, 2016 surrounded by his family. An Army veteran, Charles retired from Air Products and Chemicals of Delaware City after many years. He was preceded by his brother, Kenneth Gosser; and his wife, Jane. He is survived by two daughters, Adrienne Gosser and Christine Joyce (James); his sisters, Marie Shockley (Ralph), and Virginia Bason; his brother, Phillip Gosser (Roberta); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
