Charles Edward Dismuke, 57

FRANKFORD - Charles Edward Dismuke of Frankford died April 14, 2007, in Peninsula regional Medical Center. He was 57.

Charles was born July 7, 1949, to the late Charles and Geraldine Dismuke in Selbyville.

Charles was educated in the public schools of Delaware, graduating from Selbyville High School in 1967.

During his life, Charles embarked on several careers, all of which were successful. He served in the U.S. Army and the Delaware National Guard.

He was a custodian, car salesman, Delaware state trooper and most recently district manager with United Insurance Co. He was with United Insurance Co. for 25 years.

Charles enjoyed his motorcycle and took a leadership role in keeping the club together.

He was an avid photographer both professionally and for pleasure.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his precious granddaughters, affectionately known as "Charlie"s Angels."

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a younger brother, Gerald Dismuke.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Andrea; two daughters, Quandora Dismuke of Selbyville, Katrina Hooper and a special son-in-law, James Hooper of Virginia Beach, Va.; three granddaughters, Noel Dismuke, Jade Hooper and Kennedy Hooper; stepmother, Catherine Dismuke of Salisbury, Md.; two sisters, Delores Justice of Dover and Cynthia Gibson and husband, Gerald of Millsboro; four brothers, Gordon Dismuke and wife, Bernice of Augusta, Ga., Donald Dismuke of Newport News, Va., Duane Dismuke and wife, Francita of Frankford, and Adrian Dismuke of Millsboro; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Hall of Millsboro; three brothers-in-law, Wilson Hall and wife, Deborah of Newark, Henri Hall and wife, Doreen of Snow Hill, Md., and Craig Hall of Millsboro; sister-in-law, Schan Hall of Seaford; and a host of favorite nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and their families, and special friends, the Black Knights Motorcycle Club.

Services will be today at 1 p.m. at Calvary Pentecostal Church Bishopville, Md., where friends may call one hour prior. Rev. Claudia Waters will officiate.
