Charles D. Robinson, 62
DOVER - Charles D. Robinson passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 in Johns Hopkins Hospital.
He was born in Baltimore, MD on April 17, 1960 to Maxine Jones Robinson and the late Charles Robinson, Jr.
Mr. Robinson was a retiree of the United States Air Force, following his retirement he began a second career with DART transportation services for 17 years.
Family knew Charles as "Tiddy" from a young age. He enjoyed fishing with friends, his children and wife. He was an amazing husband and devoted father, staying involved with his children's extracurricular activities. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and cooking. He loved being outdoors and riding his bike. Mr. Robinson and his family were members of Calvary Assembly of God in Dover. He was also a member of the APA Pool League.
He is survived by his wife, Aurora Robinson; children, Maxine Robinson, Michael Robinson and Charles Robinson; as well as his grandchildren; and mother, Maxine Jones. He will be missed by many.
Services will be held 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd., Dover, DE 19901. Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to service time. Graveside services will follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake Rd., Bear, DE 19701.
