Charles A. 'Tony' Lowe Jr., 38

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. - Charles A. "Tony" Lowe Jr., age 38, of Deerfield Beach, and formerly of Laurel, Del., went to be with the Lord on Sept. 8, 2009, at North Boward County Medical Center in Florida. He was born in Seaford and graduated from Laurel High School Class of 1989. He owned and operated a Neon Glass Sign Company called Grateful Glass in Deerfield. Tony was a gifted artist and glass blower, whom loved the beach, music and crabbing. He had a funny and loving personality, and was a devoted friend whom loved children. Tony is survived by his father, Charles A. Lowe Sr. and his wife Leanne of Seaford, Del.; his mother, Peggy C. Allen and her husband David of Laurel; his stepbrothers and sisters, Brian Allen of Laurel, Jodi Everett of Laurel, and Kateri Lambrose of Seaford. He is also survived by a cousin, Mike Hall and life long friends Kevin Massey and David Kinnikin. Tony was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Lowe whom passed in 1969. A Graveside Service was held Monday, Sept. 14, at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Laurel. The Pastor Larry Whaley officiated. Kindly omit flowers. The family requests donations be made in Tony's memory to: Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, 5420 N.W. 33rd Street, Suite 100, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309. Arrangements are in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, Laurel.
