FELTON, DE - Channarong Limphong (Tito) passed away peacefully on July 14,2023, after valiantly battling four years with a stroke. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. His artistic talents will be forever remembered by his friends and family.
Channarong was born in Bangkok, Thailand on June 2, 1942, to Klung and Manee Limphong. Channarong was a policeman and artist in Thailand prior to migration to the US. He enjoyed cowboy stuff, painting and singing.
Channarong is survived by his loving sister, Savanee Batton and his daughters, Sopita Collins, her husband Cam and her son Jimmy, Pattareeya Finger and her sons Phoenix and Sydney of Dover, DE; and Pattraranee Limphong and her children Alice and Mark of San Diego, CA.
Memorial service will be held from 1 pm to 3 pm, Sunday, August 6, 2023, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St. Dover, DE 19904.
The interment will be held privately at 9 am, Monday, August 7, 2023, at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, 6486 Bay Rd, Frederica, DE 19946.
