FRANKLINVILLE, N.J. - Celia W. Russell, age 95, of Franklinville, died Wednesday morning, Aug. 4, 2010, at home following a one year period of declining health. Born in Wyoming, N.Y., on Nov. 30, 1914, to the late Walter Rowley and Lula Bond Rowley, she was the wife of the late Henry Russell. She had resided in Franklinville for 11 years and in Dover, Del., prior to that. Mrs. Russell was a member of the Silver Lake Community Church in New Jersey and Maranatha Baptist Church in Camden, Del., and enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She is survived by two daughters, Leona Bray of Dover, and Lillian V. Lockee of Franklin Township; two sons, Arnold Russell of Middletown, Del., and Alvin Russell of Benicia, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Helen Rowley of Wyoming, N.Y.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, family and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Bagg; and two brothers, Harold and Richard Rowley. Friends will be received at the Padgett Funeral Home, 1107 State Highway #77, Upper Deerfield Township on Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, from 11 a.m. to noon. Additional visitation will take place at the Torbert Funeral Chapel in Dover on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will follow the visitation at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden, Del.
