Catherine V. Cusick

Cusick, 101 CAMBRIDGE - Catherine "Kitty" V. Cusick passed away on Tues., May 26, 2015 at Mallard Bay Care Center. She was born in Mardela on Aug. 31, 1913 and was a daughter of the late Hilary and Mary Ethel Seabrease Greene. She attended schools in Cambridge and Wilmington, DE. On Nov. 30, 1960 she married William James Cusick who passed away on May 23, 1988. Kitty had worked at F.W. Woolworth in Cambridge and later at Airpax until she retired in 1973. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, American Legion Post 91 Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Eastern Shore State Hospital Auxiliary, Choptank Memorial Post 7460 V.F.W. and A.A.R.P. Besides her husband, Mrs. Cusick is preceded in death by a half-brother, Nelson McGrath. She is survived by a special cousin, Evelyn Thomas; and numerous cousins; nieces; and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Fri., May 29, 2015 at 3 p.m. at East New Market Cemetery with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to Grace United Methodist Church, 501 Race Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 or to Coastal Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802. Arrangements are in the care of the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
