DOVER - Catherine "Katie" Beachy passed away November 13, 2021 at her home surrounded by those she loved. Katie was born in Arthur, Illinois on August 27, 1939, the daughter of the late Noah and Anna Mast.
Katie enjoyed sewing, quilting & crocheting. Many of her evenings were spent playing Rumi Q with her husband, Dan. She savored time spent with her grandchildren and her faith in God was strong and unwavering.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings, Barbara, Cora, Polly, David, Christena, Jonas & Elmer. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Daniel; children, Annie Marie Beachy, Alva Beachy (Jennifer), David Beachy (Lene), Vernon Ray Beachy (Ruth), Alta Henry (David), Edward Beachy (Delores), Ruth Ann Foster (Dwight) & Mary Ellen Cheetham (Robert); 47 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Jacob Mast (Amanda), Adlai Mast (Elizabeth), Alta Miller & Sarah Mast; extended family and friends.
Public viewing Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. & funeral service Thursday, November 18, 2021, 10 a.m. all at Myers Pointe Event Center, 600 Myers Dr., Hartly, Del. Interment Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover, Del.
