Catherine B. Fragale, 87 DOVER - Catherine B. Fragale, of Dover, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, in Westminster Assisted Living, Dover. She was 87. Born in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Lydia (Walls) Bradley. During the early 1950s, Mrs. Fragale had worked at Playtex Corp., and later during the early 1980s she had worked for a few years at Little School. Mrs. Fragale had been a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and had enjoyed the time spent with her family. Throughout the years, she had been a participant in activities presented by the Elks Lodge in Dover, and enjoyed dancing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick John Fragale in 1979. She is survived by four daughters, Antoinette "Toni" and her husband James Hewes of Smyrna, Julia and her husband Charles Muldrow of Dover, Geri and her husband Earl Murray of Clayton, and Deborah and her husband Gilbert Mabrey of Clayton; three grandchildren, James Dominick Hewes and his wife Angie, Kevin Mabrey and Cody Murray, all of Clayton; one great-granddaughter, Faith Elizabeth Hewes of Clayton; two step-grandchildren, Brian and Scott Murray, both of Dover; four step-great-grandchildren, Brian Jr., Jena, Casey, and Brett Murray, all of Dover; one sister, Dora Snyder of Pennsylvania; her adopted family, Peg and Dave Mowery of Smyrna; and especially her fiancé, John C. Hammond of Dover, who was her longtime companion, dance partner, and best friend. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Church, S. State. Street, Dover. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to the Westminster Assisted Living Employee Appreciation Fund, 191 Westminster Drive, Dover, DE 19904; or to the Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901.
