Catherine Ann Moore, 74

DOVER - Catherine Ann Moore of Dover died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 74.

She was born March 3, 1933, in Dover, daughter of the late Herman and Marie (Geiger) Meyers.

Catherine worked for the William Henry Middle School, Dover, where she managed the cafeteria for 20 years. She and her husband owned and operated a large garden and farm produce stand.

She enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers, and cooking for family events.

Catherine enjoyed attending Whatcoat United Methodist Church, Camden, with her son.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Leonard Gordon Moore Jr.; three sons, Thomas O. Moore and his wife, Jean, of Felton, Ronald L. Moore and his wife, Dianne, of Camden and Jeffery A. Moore and his wife, Cathy, of Townsend; four brothers, Fred Meyers of Missouri, Herman Meyers of Dover, George Meyers of Dover and Calvin Meyers of Florida; two sisters, Rose Thompson of Dover and Marie Yanke of Cherry Hill, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be 7 p.m. Saturday in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will be private.
