Catherine Ann Edgar

DOVER - The Good Lord called Catherine Ann Edgar, an Angel, to be by his side on July 11, 2018. Catherine passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Catherine was born on March 26, 1921 in Smyrna. Catherine was the daughter of the late John and Estella Crosby.
Catherine was a retired State of Delaware employee. She enjoyed being a home body, watching T.V. especially Soap Operas and Nascar. Jimmy Johnson was her favorite driver. Her favorite pastime was enjoying her family, especially her grandchildren. Having breakfast, coffee and reading the newspaper on Sunday mornings with her family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Wooleyhand; and son, Robert Edgar.
She is survived by a daughter, Estella Truitt of Dover, whom she loved immensely and together shared a home. Sons, Richard Edgar of Dover, and Leroy Poore (Cindy), of Dover. Catherine is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. A special thank you to her cousin, Dorothy Cordeiro, whom always cut her hair; and friend, Patty whom had many conversations together. Private services will be held
Burial will be private at Barretts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
