DOVER - Catherine A. Keyes passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015. Cathy was born Sept. 12, 1953 in Oregon, Ill. to the late Joseph Martin Ryan and Thelma Shackleford Ryan. She was raised in Dixon, Ill. and was proud to say that she was raised in the home town of Ronald Reagan. She graduated from Dixon High School and received a Degree in Business Administration from Sauk Valley College. She moved to Dover, Del. in 1989. She was a homemaker and managed her husband's private practice. Cathy was a member of the Kent County Republican Party, the 34th Rd, Kent County Republican Woman's Club and was the President of the DFRW Building Fund. Cathy enjoyed all of her family and friends and was a wonderful cook and hostess. When she wasn't at one of her grandson's many sporting events she loved spending time at the beach. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a nephew, Sean Ryan. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Joseph B. Keyes of Dover; daughter, Megan Keyes Allen and her husband Keith of Dover; brother, Richard Ryan and his wife Bonnie of Ormond Beach, Fla.; sisters, Maureen Worman and Colleen Ryan both of Dixon, Ill.; niece Heather Ryan of Ormond Beach, Fla. and grandson, Cameron Ryan Allen. Memorial service will be held 7p.m., Friday evening, Feb. 20, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E. Lebanon Road Dover, DE 19901. Friends may call from 5 to 7.
