OCEAN VIEW - Carville L. "Lee" Etchison Sr. of Ocean View died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, in his residence. He was 85.
Mr. Etchison was born in Baltimore, son of the late Carville Charles Etchison and Antonia (Horn) Etchison.
He had been employed as an auto mechanic.
Mr. Etchison relocated to Sussex County from Baltimore after his retirement in 1986.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7234, Ocean View.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Charlotte (Nash) Etchison; a daughter, Diana L. McGrath and her husband Timothy; a son, Carville L. Etchison Jr. and his wife Nancy; four grandchildren, Caroline and Victoria McGrath, Carla Bengtson and Andrew Etchison; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother.
Funeral services will held be at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Clarksville Chapel, Clarksville, at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Kerry Shull officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be private in Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro.
